Tfue ends his competitive career with his worst performance yet at Fortnite World Cup

The Fortnite Professional and Twitch star has been in the middle of the spotlight for many reasons recently, but most of them have not been positive. Now that the Fortnite World Cup is finished, it seems he has more bad news for his fans

The professional player’s confirmation of leaving the competitive scene came a few months ago, with Fortnite World Cup being his last event. Instead of presenting his peak performance, the pressure of practical and emotional life seemed to have left an impact on Turner “Tfue” Tenney, who ended the competition at the 67th place.

Fortnite Fall Skirmish champion had planned to participate in the Duo Cup with his usual partner Denis “Cloakzy” Lepore at first, but were unable to achieve the desired results and qualify despite their intensive training. Tfue managed to reach the Solo Finals, but his results were the worst in his competitive history.

His best game in the tournament was 22nd with 1 Kill, followed by 29 and 3 Kill, but the remaining challenges placed him at 79, 63, 65 and 86 without any Kills. Those disappointing results drove Tfue out of the competition at the 67th position, earning $50,000 for his participation in the event after Epic Games promised $50,000 to all the finalists.

Tfue’s poor performance may be due to his current circumstances, which include his ongoing struggle with FaZe Clan and his “unfair contract” lawsuit with the organization, as well as his recent breakup with Corinna Kopf ahead of the Fortnite World Cup.

Despite his disappointing departure from the competitive world of Fortnite, Tfue will inevitably return to play for fun through his own Twitch channel, joining the likes of the former CS: GO pro “Shroud” in his passion for the live broadcast career Full-time, and having his channel on Top Five’s list through Twitch will help him achieve his goal.
