This is the winner of DOTA 2 Summit 9 the last tournament before TI8

Few hours ago was the final day of DOTA 2 Summit 9, between Evil Geniuses and Fnatic for the final title.

Evil Geniuses defeated Fnatic with 3-0 to claim the last LAN title of the DOTA 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) 2017-2018 season before The International 8 (TI8).

Evil Geniuses are back to prove that they have found their synergy and are ready to take on the world’s best at The International 8 in only two weeks. After completing the group stage with a first-place ranking and 7:3 record, Evil Geniuses dominated the playoff brackets with an undefeated run.

Fnatic, VGJ.Storm, OpTic Gaming, and paiN Gaming have enough time to retool their strategy and approach and use the insight they gained at BTS Summit 9 to find the recipe for success.

Celebrating the 10th iteration of the Summit series, BTS also released the trailer for the next event to be held in December. The next tournament for the Los Angeles based studio will not be part of the Dota Pro Circuit.
