Troy Baker asks fans to reserve judgement on Snake’s new voice actor
Many fans are still skeptical about Kiefer Sutherland’s voice acting of Snake or Big Boss in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, as we all got use to hearing David Hayter’s iconic voice for over 20 years. But Troy Baker is asking fans to reserve judgement.
“I love David Hayter, I love David, he’s a good dude and he’s Snake, but so is Kiefer. And that guy showed up, rolled up his sleeves and got dirty on this game. So reserve judgement until you play it. You only have like two more months left and trust me it’ll be worth it.” said troy during his attendance at Indy PopCon.
Baker was also asked about what’s going on between Konami and Kojima. He responded that he doesn’t know what’s happening but he loves and respects Kojima as one of the cinematic games pioneers, and as the creator of one of the greatest characters of all time with the multiple iterations of Snake.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain comes to end the loop on the story in September for PC, PS3/4 and Xbox One/360.
