Ubisoft hints a new Far Cry game

Many hints and teasers were posted today by Ubisoft indicating an upcoming announcement of a game set in the ice age period. A Youtube livestream was posted with the title of “Ubisoft Announcement” without any more elaboration on the matter other than “COMING SOON”. Many fans are speculating that it’s indeed a new Far Cry game especially after some leaks kinda confirmed it.

One of the close sources to the company leaked some pictures to a known gaming website telling them that the announcement is for “Far Cry Primal” which takes place in the old age and relies on survival. Turkish version of IGN went ahead and mistakenly revealed the game with the same title before the post got deleted, but not fast enough to avoid fan detection.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if the game was a sequel to Far Cry, knowing that one of the more famous options on the poll that was posted by Ubisoft on the next game was Far Cry with dinosaurs.

Far Cry 4 was released last year on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
