Ubisoft : “Watch dogs will be one of the best selling IPs in recent memory”

Ubisoft expects that its new upcoming title , Watch Dogs , is going to be one of the best selling new ips in 2014 and “one of the best selling in recent memory” in general .

Ubisoft’s Wayne Greenwell said that pre-orders numbers alone proves that the “excitement for the product” and is “incredibly high”.

“Our pre-orders are hugely promising for a new IP and highlights the enthusiasm that has surrounded the product since it was first unveiled to the world,”

“With Watch Dogs, Ubisoft is building a new blockbuster brand to stand alongside other top tier triple-A titles and we expect it to be not only one of the best selling new IPs in recent memory, but also one of the best selling titles throughout 2014.”

Ubisoft will advertise its new game through Apps,Live broadcasts and TV , print and online ads. and it will partner with “Shazam” app which is going to be used in the TV and radio campaign .

It will also reach for the “top” Twitch and Youtube users who’re going to play the game day-one of its release.

Watch Dogs releases for the PC,PS3/4 and Xbox 360/One in May 27. Wii U version is to follow in the near future .
