Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Mad Max canned and more
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything new about the apocalyptic-wasteland game coming from Just Cause developers Mad Max, but today’s news might not be as pleasant for anyone stuck with a last-gen console as the development of Xbox 360 and PS3 versions is now canned.
The reason of why did Avalanche drop the support is to improve on the PC and current-gen versions of the game. The thing that forced devs to halt developing for older consoles and step up with their technology to be focused on the newer hardware.
It was also announced that pre-ordering the game will net you an additional Magnum Opus car body called “The Ripper” that sports a v8 engine, updated exhaust, tires and suspension that fits every environment found in the wasteland.
Mad Max is coming September 1 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Watch the new video and the game’s official box art below.
