Xbox One Elite controller in limited quantity until March

Nobody expected that the Xbox One Elite Controller would be met with such success…even Microsoft itself. According to representatives of the company, the market for the $150 controller was estimated wrongly, resulting in a shortage of supply that wasn’t sufficient for thousands of customers.

In a statement sent out to the press, Microsoft said that “while the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller is sold out in many retailers around the world, we are working quickly to get more units in the hands of fans. We expect more units to arrive at retailers each week but supply may be limited through to March 2016”.

Microsoft’s expensive controller offers some neat features, including trigger locks, a changeable D-Pad, changeable thumb sticks, button remapping and four extra paddle buttons on the back that you can bind to any other function. The only sure way to get one of these controllers is to buy the Elite edition of the Xbox One, which also comes equipped with a 1TB high-performance SSHD drive for $500.
