“Chicken Hat” Announced for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear series announced the latest addition to the next installment in the franchise, The Phantom Pain. Consisting of a new hat in the shape of a chicken that will be worn by less skillful players to help them out through the game.

The new tool will appear to the player after Snake has died several times in a mission. The game will ask if you want to wear it to reduce the difficulty and make the character almost invisible to the eyes of the soldiers. The humor is in the fact that whoever puts this hat on has to live with the humiliation of being a “chicken” and not being up to the challenge.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has not been given a specific release date yet. Coming to PC, PS4/3, Xbox One/360 in 2015.
