The company has revealed that it’s in need of a community manager, who will perform multiple tasks to communicate with the community of players in the region and support the global team in delivering the latest news and updates on Blizzard products, produce content and manage social media channels.
Requirements include at least five years experience in community building and online relationships/partnerships, event management, or similar fields, plus three years’ experience in dealing with customers and social networking sites. In addition, it is important to communicate well in both Arabic and English and analyze data to understand the nature of the community of local players and the ability to travel and attend events around the world.
With that being said, Nazih Fares, the PR director in the Middle East and North Africa, said in a recent tweet that all wanting players should try to apply to the job, even if they did not have the experience, due to the fact that there aren’t many companies that have similar jobs in the region thus making it difficult to obtain said experience.
