Here are eSports winners of The Game Awards 2017

Just a few hours ago we were presented with the The Game Awards 2017 which came back this year to honor the best video games of 2017, along with numerous prizes for esports

The North American team Cloud9 won the award for the best team in the world of electronic sports, thanks to the multiple achievements this year.

There wasn’t only one award for the best team in eSports, but also for the best player too. The winner was none other than Lee “Faker” sang-hyeok, a 21-year-old League of Legends pro and member of the SK Telecom T1 international champions of the game and this year’s Worlds 2017 finalists.

In other news from the event,  Overwatch has won the Ongoing game award, as well as The best esports game. Dr,Disrepect won the Trending player award, thanks to his outstanding presence in live broadcast sites like Twitch and others.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The latest version of the Zelda series that is available on Switch and Wii U devices, won the overall Game of the Year award, which is the biggest and most important award in this event. In addition to receiving the Best Direction award.

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds had its new map reveal called Miramar In addition to the announcement of the official release of the full version of it on 20 December on the PC, as it’s still in Early Access as for now.
