Juventus enters the field of eSports with new deal
Juventus is about to expand beyond real football, as it joins digital pitches in a new deal with one of the most prominent international organizations to take the challenge to the next level.
With the spread of video game competitions worldwide, all parties have began adopting them, the concept of esports began to spread among the real clubs as a sport of the future, as we saw several well-known names such as Paris Saint-Germain adopt these challenges, and now the role has come to the famous Italian club.
In cooperation with the Astralis organization, which has the best CS: GO team in the world, a new deal was reached with the Italian club Juventus to enter the world of esports via eFootball PES 2020, where the choice landed on three of the most prominent local players to represent the team in the global video game competitions.
Ettore Giannuzzi, Luca Tubelli and Renzo Lodeserto will represent the Italian club in the upcoming tournaments starting with the eFootball.Pro event, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain by Konami, publisher of the Pro Evolution Soccer series. Interestingly, several other football clubs, such as Manchester United, participated in the competition, so the challenge will inevitably be interesting when it begins on December 14th.

Besides eFootball.Pro, Juventus will also participate in the newly established eSerie A TIM series to bring together Italian e-clubs similar to the well-known Serie A league in the football world.
