New Apex Legends challenge spices the game up with new skins

Coming late is better than never coming, isn’t it? This may be the case for Apex Legends, which will be getting its the first interesting set of challenges in the game after a long wait from fans

The next challenge, the “Legendary Hunt”, will kick off next Tuesday and will last for two weeks allowing players to enter special matches that reward them with awesome skins when they win challenges. All you have to do is reach the top five teams during the day, and you will be brought into dedicated matches filled with teams of similar position, which will increase the enthusiasm and excitement with some of the best players.

You’ll also get one Battle Pass level per day for the first top five finish, and Skins for the R-301 and Wraith (above) for the Battle Pass owners will be available. As for the Legendary Hunt challenge, you will get a free Bloodhound Skin when you play, as well as other content when you meet the challenges that will be revealed later.

Some new details of the second season have also been unveiled, and we will get our first look at it next week at EA’s huge E3 conference. The most talked about is the daily and weekly challenges in the second season of the Battle Pass, with weekly challenges always present until the end of that season to get back to whenever you want.

“While we don’t want to introduce wacky challenges that drastically warp the way you play the game, these challenges should provide some interesting variation from game-to-game. This means all players should feel more rapid Battle Pass progression and the journey will hopefully be more fun and interesting. Also, this addition should allow players who can only dedicate a few hours a week to the game to make a very deep cut into their Battle Pass progression.”

EA returned to reassure those who have been disappointed with the Battle Pass content for the first season. Not only does the second season comes with a lot of exciting content, but it also won’t require a lot of hours per day because there is multiple ways to level up. The challenges of the second season give different ways to progress.

Other news on Season 2 includes not having unwanted rewards like badges, instead focusing on providing exciting Skins for weapons and legends. Speaking of Season 2 skins, Legendaries will be given out every 25 levels, instead of one every 100 levels (the entire first season).

More details will be revealed on June 8 at EA E3, and the second season will be celebrated by providing a Double XP period from June 7 to 10 for the first Battle Pass owners.
