New CS: GO update celebrates 20th anniversary with revamped Cache release and more

Counter-Strike is officially celebrating its twentieth birthday today, with the launch of a new update to its latest game CS: GO, which has finally received the upcoming remake of the popular Cache map, a new Skins case and more

The update released this evening comes with the improved version of Cache that we saw for the first time at ESL One New York after many months of teasers. The map can be played on Valve’s official Deathmatch, Casual and Scrimmage servers. Unfortunately, you will not be able to play Competitive games on the enhanced map yet, because Valve intends to make sure it is fully tested before being included with other maps.

In addition to the new Cache version, CS: GO fans will celebrate the 20th anniversary with a new Skins case called CS20, which includes a big number of rare weapon skins , including two Red Skins, three pinks, five purples, and six blues. One of the skins is “Classic Knife” and is identical in its design to 1.6 knife.

Another addition is the CS20 Stickers capsule which includes 20 stickers designed by the game community, which you will also be able to buy from the main game menu after you update to the latest version. Speaking of cosmetics, we recommend that you wait a bit before buying any skin or sticker right now, as the prices are still high as usual with new skins released to the game.

The new update is approximately 300 MB on Steam, and you can start downloading from now.
