North scores first win in PGL Major Krakow 2017

Team North have picked up their first victory at PGL Major Krakow 2017 after defeating PENTA 16-9 on Mirage.

The first match of the day in Krakow saw PENTA get out to a quick 5-0 lead thanks to Jesse “zehN” Linjala winning two 1v2 situations, in the pistol round and in the first full gun round.

North then held PENTA off for the first time with a perfect B retake, but the European mixture hit back immediately following yet another 1v2 won by zehN after Kevin “HS” Tarnhad opened up the A site with three frags.

Now playing on the Terrorist side, North got off to a fantastic start, winning six rounds in a row to put PENTA in danger of getting blown out.

After losing a 4v2 situation, the European mixture went for a desperate aggressive play, which earned them a round, but the Danish team hit back in the next round. With their economy in a dire situation, PENTA were helpless to prevent North from running away with the lead.
