OpTic Gaming announces new streaming partnership

Streaming wars continue between Youtube, Facebook and Twitch, as OpTic Gaming announced that the later will be their exclusive broadcast partner going forward.

The new deal was announced on on Twitter by Twitch, although very few details were released about what it will actually entail. OpTic members have previously streamed on other platforms including Youtube, but going forward the pro players will be showcasing their talents via the Amazon-owned platform. The news comes at a time when Twitch is attempting to maintain their controlling stake of the streaming market, with the likes of Facebook and Youtube signing deals with other esports teams.

OpTic Gaming is one of the biggest esports organizations on the planet with a large fan base mainly for their elite level Call of Duty team and the personalities involved. Other titles such as CS:GO, Gears of War and Halo are at similar level with pro teams dominating the scene.
