PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 announced with $2 million prize pool

Following the footsteps of last year’s PUBG Mobile competition, it seems that 2019 will see a new big event called Pubg Mobile Club Open 2019, with a huge prize for the best esports enthusiasts and casuals alike

Last year, PUBG Mobile Star Challenge proved to be the most popular esports event for the game with a $600,000 prize pool. Now, PUBG Corp and Tencent will provide more than double that prize in the follow-up event at PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019, with the money being distributed on two main events in Spring and Fall.

Global Spring Finals will be held in July this year, while we will see the Fall Split in December. As with Star Challenge, all those wishing to register for the global championship won’t have to be from a professional organization, they’re only required to be good enough at the game to make it through. Registration for the tournament qualifiers start today and will last until March 18.

Does this include the Middle East? Of course! The only requirement is that the player is over the age of 16 to participate in this event, which will bring together players from Southeast Asia, China, Europe, North America, India, Japan, South America and Korea.

Do you see yourself as a professional player at PUBG Mobile? You can register with your team through the following link for free. At least three players must be present in the region in which they wish to compete.

Esports Middle East hosted the Star Challenge qualifiers for MENA last year through the PUBG GCC Cup, which brought together the best Arab teams in a strong competition that you can read all about here.
