Tfue wins $40k Fortnite Fall Skirmish event in its second week
The star of FaZe Clan and one of the most famous Fortnite Twitch streamers has added a new title to his name, winning a $40,000 prize over the weekend
That’s right, while many dream of making a similar amount in a year, Turner “Tfue” Tenney has earned $37,000 in Fortnite only, through the recently announced Fall Skirmish, which sees Epic Games give away millions of dollars in prize money.
Tfue first place win was thanks to the 13 points he obtained in six games which were enough to beat Thwifo, who finished in second place with a very close score of 12 points. As was the case last week, yesterday’s competition was based on the Royale Flush system, which gives players points on their placements or a certain number of Kills. For example, each Victory Royale means three points, which is the same number of points players earn every 7 kills.
In addition, there is an extra $ 20,000 divided into $ 10,000 for those who can match both conditions in one game, and another $10,000 to finish the game with the most Kills.
Moving to the European side of the event, Dmitri “Mitr0” van de Vrie was the winner, beating well-known players such as Dominik “RazZzero0o” Beckmann and Artur “7ssk7” Kyourshin. If you are not familiar with the Fall Skirmish system, it is based on dividing players into five groups or clubs that compete against each other through their total points. What this means is that Rift Raiders have been boosted by “Mitr0” and “Tfue” wins this week, as both belong to the group, bringing the distance between them and the second and third positions by only 60 points difference.

Fortnite Fall Skirmish is part of Epic’s plans to introduce their famous game Fortnite: Battle Royale to the world of esports, with $10 million dollars split between a range of competitions that will take place until the end of the year.
