AMD Next Horizon
A few hours after the Ubisoft conference was the presentation of the AMD chipset, which revealed, as promised, the details of the graphics cards coming from the Navi series, including its video game performance, price and launch date.
The new graphics cards are based on the all-new RDNA architecture and 7nm manufacturing technology, which is only two versions for the current time: Radeon RX 5700 and Radeon RX 5700 XT. The goal here was to perform better than Nvidia’s RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 in the same price category, and that seems to be what we’re going to get.
The RX 5700, which is designed to compete with the RTX 2060, will come at $ 379 while the RX 5700 XT comes in defiance of the RTX 2070 for $ 449. Despite the convergence of the price of 5700 and 2060, However, the difference between 5700 XT and 2070 exceeds $ 100 and a similar performance. Both cards will be released on July 7 along with the new Zen 2 processors.
Speaking of the Zen 2 processors, a number of new tests have been reviewed that show performance relative to Intel processors in performance, with a clear superiority in multi-core and live broadcast. Ryzen 9 3900X easily outperforms rival i9-9900K in Division 2 while playing and maintains 98% Of the tires compared to only 2.1% for Intel.
A number of new technologies have also been introduced including FidelityFX, which keeps the details of the image from losing and contributes to its increase with little impact on the frame rate, as this feature will come within the upcoming Radeon updates. The new Radeon Anti-LAG (RAL) technology has also been unveiled to the e-sports audience to reduce latency between input and image display by 15 to 35%.
The latest surprise was the discovery of the new Ryzen 9 3950X processor, which offers 16 core processors, 32 processing threads running only 105W, 4.7GHz and 72 MB of cache, all for just $ 749, easily overcoming the lowest-priced processors from the competition.
