Next Apex Legends major update details revealed

Respawn Entertainment revealed the details of the upcoming “major” Apex Legends update, which doesn’t really seem to fix many of the bugs players are experiencing, but it’s better than nothing

Although the players are waiting impatiently for new content and a solution to major problems the game has seen since launch. However, the next update, which will come on May 20-21, may not answer the demands of many people with its focus almost exclusively on the game’s audio. Between raising the volume of enemies’ footsteps, lowering Wraith’s ninja knife sound, reducing Pathfinder’s sound and reducing the sound of music at the start of the game, the update does not seem to bring any significant changes or fixes.

However, the next update will be the first step in fixing the Hit Detection problem, which is usually experienced by players during firefights, where shots are not recorded even though they hit the enemy directly. The update will fix the “majority of cases” that cause this, but it will also add fingerprints of sort to the bullets to help developers understand the problem better and whether the problem is the player’s connection or the game itself.

Other fixes include improving the game’s audio engine by 30% to reduce sound distortion and a fix to the Fortified passive of Gibraltar and Caustic, which caused damage to the characters through their shields.

Regardless of the disappointing update, players are still waiting for the second season of the game next June, in which Respawn promised to offer a lot of new content to satisfy the discontented players from the scarcity of the content of the first season. Despite Shroud’s talk that the next hero will not be “that sick”, we will be waiting to see what the developers will offer us anyway.
