Ubisoft continues to support Arab gamers with new Rainbow Six: Siege map

Ubisoft continues to increase its support for Arab players with their titles and this time it’s in the multiplayer competitive game Rainbow Six: Siege, which will get a whole new map taking place in Morocco

The new map, called “Al Hosn”, has been developed to be inspired by real buildings in Morocco. The new day map features a unique clay mound with its main gate bearing a phrase written in Arabic that roughly translates to “Unmovable rock mound” on its dome.

The map has several external entry points through the towers and the roof. It has two floors, each with many rooms and corridors, with many stairs. Open spaces, coverage points, and many areas of vision that offer the possibility of close and long range clashes.

Players can use interior decoration in the restored section of the area for their advantage, from luxurious furniture, painted portholes and huge chandeliers. While the other undefined section has a distinct character that captures traditional artifacts and original motifs, making it easier for players to orient themselves in the map and find their location at any time.

This is the first Arab-style map of Rainbow Six: Siege and is part of Ubisoft’s efforts to increase the inclusion of Arab players in its community. The full localization update will come soon to the game with its Arabic interface for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox . You can visit Rainbow Six on Twitch on November 17 and 18 to see the full release of the new Wind Bastion operation as part of the professional league finals.
