Ninja becomes the top streamer at Mixer days after leaving Twitch

After just few days since making his move to Mixer, the ex-Twitch king is already the number one on another platform, with Tyler “Ninja” Blevins proving immense popularity that was transferred over to Microsoft’s streaming website

The famous streamer, who is no stranger to breaking records through Twitch thanks to the unprecedented fame of the popular Battle Royale Fortnite, was able to prove his success regardless of the platform he chooses to appear on when he got 500 thousand followers as soon as he made the announcement about moving to Mixer, an unprecedented number, part of which may be due to a temporary offer that allows new users to get a free subscription as well.

Now that “Ninja” has started his live broadcasts with special games from Fortnite Friday with world champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf last week, the famous player has managed to break the million mark in less than a week, becoming the number one surpassing the former holder David “The Grefg” Canovas, proving that his fame is no joke.

But what about the original “Ninja” channel via Twitch? In fact, it still exists, but it is now being used by the site to promote other content makers with the phrase “the ninja you’re looking for is in another castle,” a funny hint inspired by Super Mario that shows Twitch is being cool with the whole thing. However, that may not continue to be the case with more popular streamers considering moving to Mixer if they get a convincing offer, most notably Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm.

The amount Ninja has received from Microsoft’s deal is still unknown, with many false rumors spreading about hundreds of millions of dollars in cash. However, it is safe to say that Ninja has inevitably earned a few tens of millions of dollars, a price that may not be too expensive considering the benefits this deal has brought to the platform, such as its application on smartphones reaching first place on Android and iPhone stores.
